OGU and Power Uzbekistan 2019 are Key Events to Show Achievements of Global Fuel and Energy Sector!
The key events of the fuel and energy sector of Uzbekistan will include: the 23rd International Exhibition Oil and Gas Uzbekistan - OGU 2019, the 14th International Exhibition Energy, Energy Saving, Nuclear Energy, and Alternative Energy Sources - Power Uzbekistan 2019, and the International Energy Conference of Uzbekistan to be held on May 15 to May 17, 2019 in Tashkent. The official support is provided by the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, Uzbekneftegaz JSC, and Uzatom Agency. The exhibition is organized by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company and their partner, ITE Group of Companies.
Uzbekistan is currently experiencing large-scale reforms in the fuel and energy sector, which include implementation of major projects involving foreign best practices and investments. For the purpose of effective implementation of the planned reforms and accelerated innovative development of the country’s fuel and energy sector, there was established the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan that supported the organization of the relevant events and initiated Uzbekistan International Energy Conference.
From May 15 to 17, the capital city of Uzbekistan will change into the focal point for discussion of the issues faced by the country’s energy sector, as well as of pressing challenges in development of the oil and gas, natural gas chemical, petrochemical, nuclear energy, and power industries, as well as in the area of energy efficiency and energy saving.
The exhibition and conference will host over 300 companies and 1000 delegates from 32 countries, including Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Hungary, Great Britain, Vietnam, Germany, Denmark, India, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Republic of Korea, Lithuania, Monaco, Norway, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Russia, Singapore, USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, Switzerland and Japan.
Against the background of the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, the interest of international companies in cooperation with Uzbekistan in the fuel and energy sector has increased, as evidenced in the expositions of the country’s two core international fuel and energy sector exhibitions. The OGU 2019 exposition will occupy Pavilions 1, 2, and Atrium 1. Pavilion 3 at Uzexpocentre NEC will be dedicated to Power Uzbekistan 2019 alone that has substantially expanded this year.
At the OGU 2019 exhibition, the leading mining, oil and gas, and oilfield service companies will present the latest technology, engineering, and software developments for oil and gas producers. Among other participants, there will be the major players of the domestic and international oil and gas markets, namely, Lukoil, Gazprom, DOW, KNOC, Hyundai Engineering, Eriell, Enter Engineering, Turboden, SOCAR, Air Products, Endress + Hauser, JUMO, KROHNE, and others.
Italy, China, and Russia will present their national stands: Bavaria (Germany) and Republic of Tatarstan (Russia) will exhibit at their collective stands. For Canadian companies represented by the Canada, Eurasia, and Russia Business Association (CERBA) it will be the first time to participate in this exhibition.
Special attention will be paid to the industry’s future generation represented by students and recent graduates. Traditionally, during the first two days of OGU, there will be held Sessions of Young Scientists, which will culminate in the interactive Recent Graduate’s Day section. At the interactive session of field-specific university students to be held on May 17, where recent graduates from the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Engineering, the branch of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in Tashkent, and the Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan, etc. will present innovative oil and gas industry solutions to the jury. Following the results of the contest, the winners will be awarded prizes and diplomas.
Power Uzbekistan 2019 will bring together representatives of almost all the main areas of the energy sector, in the following sections: energy; energy saving; nuclear energy; electrical equipment; renewable and alternative energy sources; power electronics; heat and power equipment.
Power Uzbekistan will be represented, among others, by the world’s leading fuel and energy market players, namely, Rosatom SC (Russia), General Electric (USA). The regular participants will include CALIK ENERJI, Aksa Jenerator San. A.S (Turkey), Power Machines PJSC (Russia), ZAPOROZHTRANSFORMATOR (Ukraine), CENK (Turkey), LAMPAR Srl (Italy), Soyuzelectroavtomatika (Russia), Spetskabeleksport (Russia), Minsk Electrical Engineering Plant (Belarus), etc. The exporters from the Republic of Chuvashia (Russia) will take part in the exhibition with their collective stand.
Domestic companies including UzAtom Agency, the exhibition debutant, National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan JSC, Thermal Power Plants JSC, and Uzbekhydroenergo JSC will also take an active part in the exhibition.
Alongside with OGU and Power Uzbekistan, two international conferences will be held: the annual International Oil and Gas Conference with its Plenary Session that will take place in Amir Temur Hall at the International Hotel Tashkent and the International Energy Conference, which fact marks a new development stage of the entire fuel and energy sector of Uzbekistan.
The major event will also host the scheduled B2G and B2B meetings of management teams of the companies and subsidiaries of the Ministry of Energy, Uzbekneftegaz JSC, and Uzatom Agency with chief delegates and company CEOs. Such meetings can greatly improve the performance of participants during the forum and contribute to development of the existing relations, as well as to attracting investments in the oil and gas sector.
Traditionally, all the exhibitors and visitors will be provided with special issues of the OGU Daily News, the content of which is unique, with the complete history of the events held as part of Uzbekistan fuel and energy sector’s major events.
