About Exhibition
The oil and gas industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan is one of the main sources of GDP, budget revenues and foreign exchange earnings, and also plays a significant role in the structure of industrial production and investment attraction.
The gradual systematic reform of the industry continues on the basis of market mechanisms, creating conditions for competition, which makes it possible to increase the efficiency of production, transportation, processing, development of hydrogen energy and, most importantly, to ensure the uninterrupted supply of natural gas and petroleum products to consumers. At the same time, it provides investors with experience and modern technologies with the opportunity to implement projects.
JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" is one of the largest energy companies in Central Asia and plays a key role in the development of Uzbekistan’s oil and gas industry.
In 2021, the company successfully entered the international capital market by issuing US$700 million Eurobonds on the London Stock Exchange with a seven-year maturity and a coupon rate of 4.75%. The Eurobond issue received international credit ratings of BB- from Fitch Ratings and S&P Global Ratings, reflecting the company’s strong strategic importance for the economy of Uzbekistan and its close ties with the state.
A landmark achievement for the industry was the commissioning of the Uzbekistan GTL (Gas-to-Liquids) complex, one of the world’s largest and most technologically advanced GTL plants. The plant processes approximately 3.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually and produces up to 1.5 million tons of high-value synthetic liquid fuels, including synthetic diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, naphtha and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
The launch of Uzbekistan GTL significantly strengthens the country’s energy security, reduces dependence on imports of petroleum products and creates additional opportunities for the export of high-quality, environmentally friendly fuel products meeting international standards.
Against the backdrop of these successes, the professional dialogue platform of the International Exhibition and the Conference "Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU" constantly demonstrates its high productivity. It is an effective mechanism for interaction between relevant departments and representatives of international oil and gas companies to discuss topical issues.
The international exhibition and conference "Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU" is the largest annual event for professionals in the oil and gas industry. This is a meeting place for leading experts in the fuel and energy complex - heads of relevant ministries and departments with event participants, manufacturers and consumers.
