Issues regarding the implementation of major investment projects with the UAE were discussed

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the delegation of the United Arab Emirates led by Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suheil al-Mazrui.

At the beginning of the conversation, the minister conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammad Al Nahyan, the Prime Minister and Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad Al Maktoum, the Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled Al Nahyan.

The dynamic development of Uzbek-UAE strategic partnership relations was especially noted.

The volume of trade turnover and investment, as well as the number of joint ventures, are growing. As part of the fifth Tashkent Investment Forum, a number of new agreements are expected to be signed with UAE companies.

An agreement was reached to accelerate the implementation of major projects in areas such as green energy, fuel production, transport, logistics, artificial intelligence and digitalization.
