In Uzbekistan, adsorbers for the first time began to produce key importance for cleaning natural gas
The country is actively conducting work on the development of local production, the introduction of import -substituting products, ensuring sustainable growth of the national economy, creating new jobs and increasing the competitiveness of the domestic market.
To this end, the Uzbekhimmash plant for the first time in Uzbekistan has established the production of adsorbers that meet international standards. These devices play an important role in cleaning natural gas, and the first batch is already set on the Shurtan oil and gas production management. The project is implemented within the framework of the localization program, which allows not only to satisfy internal demand, but also to expand export capabilities.
Adsorbers are designed to remove sulfur -containing compounds from natural gas. These are large -sized columns with a diameter of 3 meters, with a wall thickness of 100 mm and a length of 19 meters, which can withstand pressure up to 63 atmospheres. The weight of one such column is 147 tons. They are made of high-quality steel of the brand 09G2S-12 GOST 5520-17.
The adsorption process includes three stages:
- Adsorption - gas purification.
- Regeneration - restoration of cleansing materials.
- Cooling - preparing the device for the next cycle.
Previously, such devices were purchased abroad, however, thanks to the localization program, their production in Uzbekistan made it possible to reduce the cost by almost half.
Another important achievement - more than 1,200 jobs for qualified specialists have been created at the Uzbekhimmash plant.
For reference: The company is capable of producing about 20 adsorbers per year. This allows you to fully satisfy internal demand and at the same time expand exports, which helps to increase the competitiveness of Uzbekistan in the international market, the development of industry, strengthen the economy and achieve technological independence.
