For a quarter of a century, Power Uzbekistan has firmly occupied a leading position among the energy events held in the region and is rightfully considered the largest and most visited event in the industry. It should be noted that Uzbekistan is one of the few countries in the world that fully provides itself with electricity from its own resources. Large-scale reforms are being carried out in the country, the purpose of which is the modernisation and restoration of electricity and gas supply facilities, the construction of new generation facilities and power transmission lines, the development of renewable energy sources, and systematic work is underway to attract investment, including through public-private partnerships. On the basis of public-private partnership, which is fundamentally new for the country's energy sector, private investments are attracted in the construction of solar and wind power plants of the latest generation. The first of the solar power plants with a capacity of 100 megawatts was put into operation in August 2021 in the Navoi region, the next one will be a 100 MW solar power plant in the Samarkand region. If today the share of renewable energy sources in the country accounts for only 8% of the total volume of electricity produced, then by 2026 the goal is to bring this figure to 25%. To achieve this goal, the country is actively building solar, wind and hydroelectric power plants.
The single technological space Power Uzbekistan 2022 will demonstrate the rich potential of Uzbekistan in the development and modernisation of the energy complex. The exposition of the exhibition will present almost all the major directions of the energy complex. One of the goals of the exhibition is to promote the restoration of old and the establishment of new business ties, acquaintance with advanced technologies and equipment, which will contribute to the implementation of large-scale reforms in the industry within the framework of the "Concept for providing the Republic of Uzbekistan with electric energy for 2020-2030" and other programme steps announced Republic leadership.

Among domestic companies take part: Uzelektroapparat, Technopark, Toshelektroapparat, ChTZ, Uzkabel.
The exposition of the National Pavilion of Turkey will make its debut, which will present 22 companies, including leading manufacturers of power equipment, cables, transformers, automation, engineering solutions in the field of production-transmission-distribution of electricity: Astor Enerji, Eva Elektrmekanik, Kontrolmatik Teknoloji Enerji ve Muh.A.S., Unal Kablo, Delta Elektrik Elektronik Imalat, Monokon Elektric, Elmaksan Transformer and others.
Also, among the debutants: Svel Group (Russia), Monoelectric (Uzbekistan), KZAEM (Russia), Te Dom (Czech Republic), Raychem (Germany), IEC-ENERGY (Germany) and many others. etc.

Despite the challenges in the global energy industry associated with various factors, the fuel and energy industry of Uzbekistan continues its systematic development and reform, remaining one of the locomotives and the most priority sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan. And it is very symbolic that the exhibitions of the Energy Events Block will be held on the eve of the First International Energy Forum of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is scheduled for June 2022.
