BUSINESS AND REGIONAL DIALOGUE JOIN EFFORTS AT UZBEKISTAN ENERGY WEEK

Uzbekistan Energy Week – UEW 2025, the largest conference and exhibition event of the fuel and energy sector will take place on May 13-15, 2025 at the CAEx Uzbekistan International Exhibition Centre.
The event is organized by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company, and its partners - ICA Eurasia Group and Congresses of Central Asia (CCA). Uzbekistan Energy Week is held under official support of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and JSC Uzbekneftegaz.
The rich program of the Week encompasses a series of exhibitions and conferences having the strategic importance for defining the development agenda of the sector and regional dialogue, namely:
- 27th International Oil and Gas of Exhibition and Conference of Uzbekistan - OGU 2025
- 18th International Exhibition on Energy, Energy Saving, Alternative Energy Sources - Power Uzbekistan 2025
- Specialized Section on Green Energy Technologies Central Asia - GETCA 2025
- 5th International Energy Conference
The three-day Forum agenda encompasses ministerial and expert dialogues, a plenary session, panel and technical sessions engaging international experts. This year, the key focus will be laid on the issues of green energy, which holds significant practical and symbolic importance this year, declared the "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy" upon the initiative of the Head of our State.
The Uzbekistan Energy Week stands as a pivotal conference and exhibition event in the country’s energy sector, seamlessly integrating key aspects of the fuel and energy complex, notably hydrocarbon production and electric power. The purpose of the equipment and technologies to be presented at the exhibitions of the Week, or the practical part of the event, is closely interconnected with the topics of the conferences - the research and practical component of the event. The top international experts and industry leaders will discuss strategies for sustainable development, advanced technologies and safe energy of tomorrow on the sidelines of the Forum. Thus, the Week ensures the synergy of theory and practice, innovation and experience, dialogue between industry leaders and business.
The combined exposition of the Energy Week has united 465 companies and brands, 90 speakers and 1,420 delegates. The geography of the event’s participants covers 34 countries: Afghanistan, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Denmark, France, Georgia, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, China, Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkiye, Turkmenistan, the UAE, UK, the USA, and Uzbekistan.
At present, while the comprehensive transition to a green economy necessitates sustained efforts and substantial investments across global, regional, and national levels, hydrocarbons continue to play a pivotal role in ensuring economic stability and meeting the essential energy needs of humanity. The oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan is a strategic driver of the economic growth ensuring sustainable production growth of the products with high added value. At the same time, large-scale activity is underway to modernize and technologically upgrade the enterprises in the industry, increase their energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint.
The 27th International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference of Uzbekistan - OGU 2025, which dates to 1997, has swiftly evolved into the premier industry event. It now serves as the cornerstone of Uzbekistan Energy Week, encompassing a series of exhibitions and conferences across related sectors. Today, OGU is the most effective platform for presenting innovations, the latest equipment and technologies to the experts, government officials and business entities and for conducting direct negotiations with the leading manufacturers and suppliers.
The events of this year's Energy Week are supported by outstanding sponsors and partners, headed by the General Sponsor, Uzbekneftegaz JSC: Acwa Power, Masdar, Honeywell UOP, Rosatom State Corporation, Ural Steel (Ural Steel), EMK Steel, INTI GD, Burservis, TECHENERGY, XP Group (Xpert Petroleum France SAS), UzAssystem, Topsoe, Air Products, Schlumberger (SLB), and Rosen Group.
Uzbekneftegaz JSC will present 10 large mining, processing and gas chemical companies at their joint stand.
The sponsoring companies will present technologies in the field of clean hydrogen, energy storage and emission reduction, low-carbon generation, drilling, steel and cast iron tubular products, and other innovations.
Germany and Turkiye will be represented with their national pavilions, while the Republic of Belarus, China, Italy, Republic of Korea, and Russia will participate with their collective stands.
The national stand of Germany is comprised of 14 companies that will present oil and gas equipment, including pumps, control meters, innovative solutions for the energy, oil and gas petrochemical industries, compressors, instrument transformers, and gas engines.
This year, China participates with an unprecedented number of exponents - 59 companies. The collective stand of Liaoning Province will demonstrate digital technologies, energy saving solutions, engineering, compressors, equipment for oil refining, and process automation. Among the largest companies are Liaoning North Air Separation Equipment Manufacturing Co..Ltd, North Air Seperation International Trade Co.,Ltd, Shengong Pump (Shenyang) Group Co.,Ltd, Lixin Valve Group Co.,Ltd, and Liaoning Yida Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd.
The Russian Federation will be represented at the exhibition by 28 companies, including such large ones as Gazprom, Rosatom, Severstal, Ural Steel, Tatneft, Burservis, EMK Steeltrade, the joint stand of the Perm Region, the stand of the Republic of Karelia. The collective stand of the Republic of Bashkortostan will demonstrate 6 service companies specializing in maintaining oil and gas equipment.
The seven companies of the Italian-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce (CIUZ) traditional collective stand will present pumping equipment, compressors, and equipment maintenance services.
The six companies at the collective stand of the Republic of Korea specialize in production of instrument transformers, cast resin components and busbars with solid insulation for the oil and gas industry, power plants, renewable energy sources, automated packaging machines, hoses, steel and pipe products, and hydraulic systems.
The national manufacturers are represented by 27 companies, which, besides the stand of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, will demonstrate domestic oil and gas and instrumentation equipment, and maintenance equipment.
It is worth noting the debut participation of 10 local companies: Andijan Electrical Engineering Plant (electrical and thermal devices), Antares-Investment (industrial tools and equipment), East Technic (flow control solutions), Gigant Pro Engineering (supply of industrial equipment and tools), Irvis-Meters (ultrasonic industrial gas flow meters), Kimyo Technologiya (production and supply of analytical and measuring equipment), Metrolog (metrology equipment), New Format-Tashkent (personal protective equipment), Propower, Spart Sistem (measuring flow and level devises).
The constant participants include: State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 3X Engineering S.A.M. from Monaco, Turkish Eagle Burgmann Endustriyel Sizdirmazlik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti, Panam Engineers Ltd. from India, CIUZ from Italy, and Rosen from the Netherlands.
Every sovereign state strives to ensure its energy security - stable and uninterrupted affordable access to energy resources, while simultaneously complying with the environmental standards. This issue is given the priority attention in Uzbekistan. The main activity is aimed at diversification of energy sources and implementation of modern technologies.
Along with the active development of renewable energy by 2030 its share in the total generation energy mix should reach 25% due to implementation of large-scale many projects on modernization of the existing energy infrastructure. Technological revamping, better energy efficiency and digital solutions are being actively implemented.
Hence, the 18th International Exhibition on Energy, Energy Saving, Alternative Energy Sources - Power Uzbekistan 2025 will demonstrate the latest technologies and innovations in the energy sector. It is of great importance for the further development of this strategically important sector. The specialized section on Green Energy Technologies Central Asia - GETCA 2025 will present innovations and the latest technological solutions for alternative energy.
For the fourth year in a row, Turkish companies are represented in the format of the National Pavilion, including the following exhibitors: Kontrolmatik Teknoloji Enerji Ve Muhendislik A.S., Turk Prysmian Kablo Ve Sistemleri A.S., Rota Muhendislik Ve Enerji Sistemleri A.S., Europower Enerji San. Tic. A.S., Eae Elektrik Asan. End. Ins. San. Ve Tic. A.S., Mimsan Endustri Kazanlari A.S., Iggnita Makine Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S.
A collective stand of the Moscow Region of the Russian Federation will demonstrate products by the following companies: M-Constructor - a leading developer of metal moulds and equipment for reinforced concrete products, Technosvar KS - manufacture of equipment and spare parts for contact welding and automation of welding processes, VLKZ (Velikiye Luki) - cable production.
Numerous Chinese companies will traditionally present their wide exposition demonstrating equipment and technologies for the renewable energy sector: Tongwei Co., Ltd., Solax Power Network Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., Jinko Solar, Longi Solar Technology Co., Ltd, Boshida Group Co., Ltd, Hopewind Electric Co., Ltd. Suntree and many other.
Some of the national participants include: Nura Group, a local company specializing in electric power industry solutions backed by 18 years of experience on the market and running 8 branches. Uzelektroapparat-Electroshield JSC manufactures electrical equipment for power engineering, industry, transport, agriculture and defence industry; Techno Cable Group LLC., produces cable and wire products; Akkuenergo, LLC., - comprehensive solutions in the field of power supply, including delivery, commissioning, warranty and post-warranty service of industrial power equipment. Electro Max Group, PC is the distributor of CNC Electric in Uzbekistan, Tavrida Electric is an international electrical engineering holding company offering comprehensive smart solutions for construction and reconstruction of 6-35 kV substations, switchgear, as well as solutions to improve reliability of distribution networks up to 35 kV (including Smart Grid Projects).
The Uzbekistan Energy Week program also includes a series of G2B and B2B meetings, as well as the signing of bilateral documents. A number of socially significant events are planned under the auspices of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, united under the slogan of the Youth Energy Section. These events include a hackathon, the intellectual game "Zakovat," technology and startup competitions in the energy sector, a business quiz, and drawing contests on energy efficiency, and traditionally form an integral part of the Week. This year, all events are taking place at a single venue, allowing for the integration of an atmosphere of effective dialogue, expert experience, innovation and business, negotiations, and joint solutions aimed at the sustainable development of Uzbekistan's energy sector.
