This year, 135 million kWh of electricity and 57 million cubic meters of natural gas have been saved

As a result of the measures taken by Uzbekneftegaz JSC to use energy resources rationally and ensure environmental sustainability, 135 million kWh of electricity were saved, the plan was fulfilled by 107% compared to the forecast. This, in turn, contributed to an increase in the efficiency of electricity production and consumption.

In order to ensure savings in electricity consumption, a 27.2 MW solar photovoltaic station, 113.9 thousand liters of solar water heaters, 13,235 LED lamps, 1,951 solar-powered lighting lamps, 1,103 touch sensors, and 4,696 square meters of corrugated panels were installed.

As a result of measures aimed at saving gas fuel, 57 million cubic meters of natural gas were saved. This means that the result is 120% higher than the forecast.

In order to save natural gas, measures have been taken to save gas consumption and increase the efficiency of steam use by shutting down zeolite cleaning and drying units, sulfur recovery, and steam boilers in hot reserve boiler houses.

As a result of paying great attention to the modernization and optimization of production processes, not only energy consumption has been reduced, but also the negative impact on the environment has been minimized.

In addition, for the external power supply of two wells commissioned at the Shurtan field of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department and small compressor stations under construction, a new 110 kV overhead line and a 110/35/6 kV substation were built and commissioned above the wells.

Construction and installation work on the new 110 kV overhead power line and the 110/6 kV Somontepa substation for external power supply of the planned small compressor stations at the Somontepa field of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department has been completed by 95%.
